Broadcast industry veterans join to drive expansion of the industry’s first agentic and multimodal AI platform for broadcast production across the US and Europe.
HighField AI, the broadcast industry’s first agentic and multimodal AI platform for automated graphics production, today announced the expansion of its commercial team to meet growing market demand with the appointment of four seasoned industry experts. This strategic expansion follows the platform’s recent commercial availability and reinforces the company’s commitment to helping broadcasters deliver smarter, more responsive content across key international markets.
Developed to help newsrooms and live production teams deliver more content, faster, HighField AI integrates seamlessly with newsroom control systems (NRCS) and leading graphics engines — including Vizrt, Unreal Engine, CGI OpenMedia, Avid iNews, ENPS, and Saga — and automates up to 75% of manual production tasks, including story visualization, asset selection, and template population.
New Sales Leadership Team:
- Brad Rumler – United States: A veteran of US broadcast networks and tech providers, Brad brings deep expertise in live and post-production workflows, having worked for companies such as Zero Density, Brainstorm, Apple, and others, providing solutions to major American broadcasters, studios, and enterprises.
- Sergio Cárdenas – Southern Europe (Spain): With a proven track record at companies such as Avid and Pixotope, Sergio brings over two decades of experience delivering broadcast innovation to broadcasters in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, and Latin America.
- Scott Barber – Northern Europe (UK): With a strong background in graphics, news production, and broadcast automation, Scott will manage the UK, Scandinavia, and the Middle East. Before joining HighField AI, he held leadership roles at companies such as Vizrt and the BBC.
- Stefan Weitzer – DACH Region (Germany): Based in Munich, Stefan brings extensive experience at companies such as Blackmagic Design and Orad and is ideally positioned to serve Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
“We’re seeing demand from broadcasters large and small who need to do more with less,” said David Dowling, Chief Revenue Officer at HighField AI. “HighField AI helps them deliver professional-grade visuals with greater speed and fewer bottlenecks. Our expansion ensures we can support that need globally, with the right people, partners, and presence.”
“Our goal is simple. We help editorial and media organizations to do more with less and with confidence,” said Amir Hochfeld, CEO of HighField AI. “Brad, Sergio, Scott, and Stefan each bring the kind of domain insight and market empathy that transforms client conversations into trusted partnerships.”
